Description
This collection of buttons is organized across several thematic display cards and an annotated worksheet. The categories include Crosses, Cupids, Cherubs and Angels, Door Knocker, Ducks and Related, and Deer Family. The group features a diverse range of materials including brass, silver-tone and copper-tone metals, mother-of-pearl, carved bone or horn, glass, enamel, and various plastics. Designs encompass figural animals and winged figures, embossed metal scenes, cameos, and three-dimensional door knocker styles. Specific examples include a polychrome mallard duck button, various cross motifs in mother-of-pearl and glass, and a variety of deer-themed buttons in ceramic and metal. The items are mounted on gray, tan, and orange collector cards. Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
