Description
This assortment consists of multiple glass buttons presented on three professional display cards, representing various periods and manufacturing techniques. These items are buttons crafted from diverse glass types, including molded, faceted, enameled, and specialty examples such as mercury back and gold-flecked pieces. One white card is labeled Mixed Modern Glass and features a grid of buttons in a wide array of colors and geometric patterns. A second pale green card displays amber and yellow-toned buttons in a radial arrangement, with specific labels identifying types such as Bimini type Peacock, Realistic Beer stein, Mechanical Make-up, and Fused glass. The third dark green card contains buttons in circular patterns with labels including Owl, Transfer, and Swirl Back, along with a commemorative button marked September 11th 2001. Techniques observed include millefiori-style inclusions, flashed color, and precision inlays.
The display cards measure approximately 9 inches in height. Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
