Description
An assortment of vintage and modern glass buttons organized by type and technique on labeled display cards. The collection includes enameled buttons featuring hand-painted floral motifs and a maple leaf design. Modern flashed glass pieces exhibit faceted iridescent finishes in various colors. Fused glass components are present in geometric and diamond shapes with layered color applications. The diachroic glass section features multi-colored shimmer effects with at least two examples noted as being set in sterling silver. Frosted glass examples include a circular piece with a painted back and a rectangular molded piece. A group of black glass buttons is molded to imitate the texture of woven fabric and faceted beads. The category of design in or under glass, referred to as DOGS, includes numerous specimens with internal swirls, textures, and silver luster finishes. The items are mounted on professional display boards for classification. Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
