Description
This collection of studio buttons is attributed to Stella Rzanski and Shirley Shaw. The assortment features various materials including blue, green, and cream jasperware, alongside glazed white ceramic pieces. Decorative techniques include bas-relief, cameo-style relief, and black transfer-printing. The subject matter is diverse, encompassing religious iconography such as a blue jasperware crucifix and a Mother and Child roundel, maritime scenes with sailing vessels, floral motifs, and animals including a polar bear, a pig, and horses. Several items are hand-signed Shirley and dated between 1984 and 2001. A studio label identifies the work as belonging to Shirley and Stella R.
Display boards: 8.5 x 11 inches each Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
