Description
This collection of Art Deco era buttons is presented on four display boards. The assortment includes mother-of-pearl and shell examples in various forms and decorative styles. One board, labeled MOP (SHAPES), contains geometric and novelty silhouettes such as stars, crescents, hexagons, and diamonds in natural and dark iridescent finishes. A second board, labeled WATCHWHEEL TRIM SHELL, features small circular buttons accented with intricate metal watchwheel trim centers. A third board, titled PAINTED MOP MIXED, showcases hand-painted designs including floral, bird, and abstract patterns on circular, square, and rectangular bases. The final board consists of larger mother-of-pearl buttons with decorative carving, piercing, and openwork.
Display boards approximately 9 inches wide. Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
