Description
This collection of buttons features several groups of vintage and modern examples professionally mounted on six display cards. The lot includes a variety of styles, such as large modern coat buttons and multiple sets of double-cut polymer buttons showcasing Art Deco-inspired geometric, floral, and abstract cut-out designs. The buttons are crafted from various materials, including colorful polymers, celluloid, glass, and metal, with some pieces identified by handwritten notations as melamine and casein. One display card is accompanied by a Third Prize ribbon and an entry form from the 2015 Buckeye State Button Society competition, describing the items as Design in Plastic Surface. The collection exhibits a wide range of colors, textures, and finishes, from solid and marbled plastics to faceted glass and embossed metal.
Display cards approximately 9 x 12 inches Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
