Description
This lot features an assortment of buttons presented on a white mounting card labeled Composition and Inlaid. The collection includes various round and rectangular buttons in a range of colors and decorative finishes, including mother-of-pearl inlays, metallic foil inclusions, and textured surfaces. Also included is a blue informational card from the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village in Dearborn, Michigan. This card holds a commemorative pewter button embossed with the Presidential crest, issued to celebrate the American Bicentennial. The informational card provides historical context regarding the history of pewter and Britannia ware in America.
Mounting card: approximately 9 inches in height Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
