Description
A collection of vintage buttons crafted from phenolic resin and celluloid, presented on a gray mounting card labeled PHENOLIC RESIN CLASS 171.1. The assortment features a variety of geometric and novelty forms, including circular, octagonal, hexagonal, square, and diamond designs. Specific examples include an apple-shaped button with painted details, a floral motif, and abstract ridged and cylindrical shapes. The color palette includes solid tones of red, yellow, orange, green, blue, and black, as well as a marbled brown example featuring an ornate metal medallion center. Several buttons exhibit Art Deco stylistic influences through tiered and faceted surfaces.
