Description
A collection of antique and vintage buttons featuring glass elements set within metal mounts. These are buttons constructed with various techniques, including molded glass cameos, faceted cabochons, and textured glass inserts. The metal frames exhibit a range of finishes including gold-, silver-, and brass-tones, decorated with floral motifs, geometric patterns, and ornate borders. The assembly includes several examples of molded cameos, iridescent glass, and colored glass in shades of emerald green, ruby red, cobalt blue, and amber. Handwritten notations on the mounting board identify specific types such as horse rider and pad back.
Board measures approximately 9 x 6.5 inches. Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
