Description
An assortment of vintage metal buttons, including examples identified as Pigeon Eyes. The buttons are primarily round and constructed from various metal alloys with antiqued gold, brass, and copper-toned finishes. A central cabochon or eye is a recurring feature, typically set within ornate relief patterns such as floral, sunburst, and geometric motifs. Some buttons incorporate colored glass or enamel accents in green, red, and blue. The collection includes pictorial designs such as cornucopia and dragon motifs.
