Description
This collection of buttons is presented on a prize-winning competition display board curated for the 2012 Buckeye State Button Society show. The assortment includes various styles such as brass, silver-tone metal, glass, and fabric-covered examples, including uniform and military-style buttons. The collection was entered under the classification Screen, screen background or screen OME and is accompanied by the official entry tag and a blue First Prize ribbon. Individual buttons are set into circular cutouts and are paired with handwritten descriptive labels including Fable, Handkerchief Corners, White Metal Cut Steel OME, Fabric OME, Woven Screen, Purple Tint, and White Metal Escutcheon.
