Description
A collection of antique and vintage livery buttons composed of brass, copper alloy, and silver-toned plated metals. These items are buttons featuring a diverse array of embossed heraldic crests depicting animals such as lions, stags, boars, and eagles, alongside other armorial motifs including castle towers, torches, and mailed arms. Several examples include Latin mottoes, such as AUDAX OMNIA PERPETI and FIT INDE FIRMIOR. The buttons are presented mounted on a cataloging grid with handwritten annotations for identification purposes.

Button diameters: 0.5 to 1.25 inches Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
