Description
A collection of antique and vintage metal livery buttons featuring various embossed heraldic bird motifs. These items are buttons typically associated with 19th and early 20th-century uniforms. The assortment includes depictions of roosters, parrots, herons, and birds of prey in both gilt and silver-toned finishes. Several examples are mounted on a collector’s card with handwritten attributions to prominent makers including Firmin, Hayward of London (60 Long Acre), Dowler & Sons, Nortzell & Sons (21 Bouverie St.), and C & J Weldon. The collection includes one additional button contained within a separate plastic bag.

Button diameters: 0.5 inches to 1 inch Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
