Description
This collection of buttons is professionally mounted on a gridded display board titled Plaids and Checks. The group was entered into the 2017 Buckeye State Button Society competition and features a variety of materials including china, composition, urea/melamine, vegetable ivory with fabric, laminated wood, shell, nylon, steel with bluing, celluloid, tartan fabric, paper set in metal, enamel, and leather. The buttons exhibit diverse construction methods such as tight top celluloid, encased nylon, and glass set in metal. The patterns are unified by checkered and plaid designs in a wide color palette. The board includes printed labels for each specimen and an attached competition tag with judge’s commentary. A green Third Prize ribbon from the Buckeye State Button Society is affixed to the top of the tray.
9 x 12 inches Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
