Description
A collection of decorative novelty buttons, primarily constructed from plaster and Plaster of Paris. The assortment features a diverse range of molded motifs, including floral sprays, fruit forms such as pears and strawberries, human figures, and geometric patterns. These items are buttons finished with polychrome paints, high-gloss glazes, and metallic effects. The collection is mounted on two display boards and includes a small assortment in a plastic sleeve. Accompanying labels and handwritten collector notes categorize the items, including references to National Button Society classifications and notations regarding potential material variations such as ceramic or molded wood fiber.
Display boards approximately 8.5 x 11 inches each. Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
