Description
A collection of buttons featuring various paisley and monad motifs. The buttons are crafted from a diverse range of materials as indicated by the display board labels, including black glass, enamel, pierced bone, phenolic, lacy threadback, glass in metal, polyester, casein, urea melamine, celluloid with black glass, vegetable ivory, shell, cold plastic enamel, metalized plastic, pewter, and steel with brass and cut steel. The assembly includes a mechanical cold plastic enamel button with an internal bell. This collection received a First Prize ribbon from the Buckeye State Button Society in 2008 for Award No. 44-R, Classification 22-1.9, titled Paisleys and Monads. A handwritten note accompanying the lot states that items have been hot needle tested.
9 x 12 inches Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
