Description
A vintage steel machinist tool chest manufactured by the Kennedy Manufacturing Co. of Van Wert, Ohio. The chest features a brown wrinkle-finish exterior and a top-opening storage compartment above two full-width sliding drawers. The top lid displays the maker’s signature Kennedy logo in white cursive script. This lot includes an extensive collection of professional machinist tools and hardware. The top compartment contains various combination and box-end wrenches, including examples from the Challenger by Proto line, a vintage Timken Universal English/Metric Converter card, and a Muriel Coronella cigar box filled with setup blocks, shims, and bearings. The first drawer is filled with High-Speed Steel (HSS) lathe tool bits, featuring blanks and ground cutters from manufacturers such as Cleveland Twist Drill Co. (Mo-Max) and Latrobe Steel (Koncor Crusader). The second drawer contains an assortment of Morse taper shank drill bits marked by Cleveland and Whitman & Barnes (W&B), alongside a container of springs, bolts, and small fasteners.

No sales tax collected on this auction. If you don’t bring help, or come too late to get all your winnings we will not refund you, instead I will read you this line reminding you that we asked you to come on time and bring help.
