Description
This is a Makita Model 1900B corded electric handheld power planer manufactured by Makita Electric Works, Ltd. in Japan. The tool is constructed with a teal plastic housing, die-cast metal components, and machined aluminum base plates. The identification plate on the housing is marked Makita Power Planer, MODEL: 1900B, 4 A 115 V, 50-60 Hz, 15000 RPM, and includes the serial number NO. 515872E. A small stamp on the plate reading 83. 7 indicates a July 1983 manufacture date. A blue depth adjustment dial is located at the front, with markings for increments of 0, 1/64, 1/32, and 3/64 of an inch. The tool retains its original orange safety warning labels and is UL listed 591T. The planer is accompanied by a gold-toned metal adjustable edge guide fence and a red-handled Phillips-head screwdriver. It is fitted with a gray power cord and a standard two-prong plastic plug. Pickup is Friday, July 31, from Noon to 7 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
