Description
A collection of precision measuring and lathe cutting tools primarily of contemporary Chinese and Indian manufacture. The measuring group features a set of outside micrometers by Cen-Tech with green enamel frames and polished steel components, housed in a fitted plastic case with documentation from Harbor Freight Tools Co. Also included are an assortment of telescoping gauges and small hole gauges contained in blue vinyl pouches. A wiggler and center finder set by Rutland Tool & Supply Co., Inc. includes various attachments. Layout tools consist of a pair of precision-ground steel 1-2-3 blocks in a red storage box, an assortment of steel adjustable parallels, and a magnetic indicator base with a flexible arm in a wooden case. The lathe accessories include a set of indexable turning tools with triangular carbide inserts in a red velvet-lined wooden case with hex wrenches. An assortment of lathe tool bits with brazed carbide tips features shanks stamped with markings including CHINA C6 AR8, ART C5, and CHINA C6 BR8. The collection also features a scissor-type steel knurling tool, a package of square carbide inserts, and an assortment of metal shim stock strips. Pickup is Friday, July 31, from Noon to 7 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
