Description
A collection of woodturning lathe tools from various manufacturers featuring professional grade and entry level equipment. The assembly includes two Robert Sorby tools manufactured in Sheffield England consisting of a spindle gouge and a specialized tool fitted with an adjustable black metal sizing gauge. These tools feature light colored hardwood handles with the maker name printed in red cursive script. Also included is a large Pinnacle brand turning tool with a red stained wooden handle housed in its original clear and green plastic protective sleeve. A three piece Pittsburgh brand wood turning tool set is present in its original blue vinyl storage pouch featuring a skew chisel gouge and scraper. The blades of the Pittsburgh set are stamped with the maker name and Made in China. The assortment is completed by several vintage or unbranded woodturning tools of various profiles including skews and scrapers with dark stained and light wood handles. Construction consists of steel blades fitted into turned wooden handles with metal ferrules. Pickup is Friday, July 31, from Noon to 7 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
