Description
A collection of ten woodturning lathe tools including various gouges, scrapers, and skew chisels. The lot features eight loose tools and two tools in their original retail packaging. Identified makers based on visible markings include Robert Sorby, Delta, Buck Bros., and Craftsman. One packaged tool is labeled as a Robert Sorby 827H External Shear Scraper, and the second is in a Delta High Speed Steel Woodturning Tool package. One loose tool handle is printed with Manufactured by Robert Sorby Ltd and the Delta logo. Another handle is stamped with the Buck Bros. name and buck head logo. One handle features a blue and yellow Craftsman decal. One tool blade is stamped with Made in China. The tools are constructed with steel blades, with some indicating high speed steel (HSS), and turned hardwood handles. Most handles are a light-colored wood, possibly ash, with one handle featuring a darker stain. Pickup is Friday, July 31, from Noon to 7 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
