Description
A trio of assorted short-sleeve crew neck t-shirts related to music and pop culture. The collection includes one contemporary band shirt, one museum membership shirt, and one vintage novelty or local band shirt.
The first shirt is a light grey Green Day band t-shirt featuring a stylized graphic for the 1994 album Dookie. The artwork on the front includes portraits of the three band members, the album title, a clock face, and the band logo in colorful block lettering. The shirt is constructed with a Tultex 202 neck tag, size Medium, noted as being made in Mexico.
The second shirt is an off-white Rock and Roll Hall of Fame + Museum member t-shirt. The front chest features a small circular museum logo, while the back displays a large, vertically oriented orange and black graphic identifying the wearer as a Member of the Cleveland-based museum. The neck tag is from Anvil, size XL, identified as 100 percent pre-shrunk cotton with fabric made in the USA and assembled in Honduras.
The third shirt is a vintage black Malpractice World Tour t-shirt. The front features the band name in a red and silver jagged heavy metal font with the text World Tour below. The back features a humorous list of tour dates from 1985 to 1989, all located within Wisconsin towns such as Sheboygan, Kohler, and Rhine Center. This shirt features a vintage black-and-red Screen Stars Best neck tag, size XL, identifying the material as a 50 percent cotton and 50 percent polyester blend made in the USA. Pickup is Friday, July 31, from Noon to 7 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item. Condition report:
The lot is in pre-owned and vintage condition. The Green Day shirt shows general wear, light staining/discoloration, and heavy wrinkling. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame shirt exhibits significant wrinkling and standard signs of use. The vintage Malpractice shirt shows typical fading to the black fabric, visible lint, and general wear commensurate with an authentic 1980s garment.
