Description
This professional-grade collection features a Panasonic AG-150 VHS Reporter camcorder and an extensive assortment of audio media and accessories. The camcorder is constructed of black industrial-grade plastic and features a Panasonic TV Zoom Lens with a focal length of 9 to 54mm and a maximum aperture of f/1.2. The body is marked with the model name, VHS Reporter, and features including Auto Focus and a 6x power zoom. Included with the camera are a fitted hard-shell carrying case with a molded interior, a Panasonic AC power adapter/battery charger, one attached battery pack, a shoulder strap, one Maxell HGX-GOLD T-120 VHS videocassette, and a Realistic Electret Tie Pin Microphone (RadioShack Cat. No. 33-1063) in its original box.
The collection includes approximately 150 karaoke and music compact discs housed in plastic sleeves within a black felt-lined Odyssey Innovative Designs road case. The discs represent various series including Sound Choice Spotlight Series, DKKaraoke, Doctor Music, and Music Maestro, featuring artists such as The Beatles, Simon and Garfunkel, and Vince Gill. Additionally, the lot contains approximately 20 commercial and recorded audio cassettes with titles by Gordon Lightfoot, Waylon Jennings, Jim Croce, and Jimmy Buffett.
Additional equipment includes one pair of Walker’s Alpha Muffs electronic hearing protection with integrated volume control and one pair of orange Silencio Safety Direct model RBW-71 hearing protection muffs marked Reno, NEV. Also included is one vintage grey metal lockbox with the handwritten inscription D-DAY TICKETS on the lid, which is empty. Pickup is Friday, July 31, from Noon to 7 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item. Condition report:
The camcorder is in fair cosmetic condition, showing visible surface dust and signs of moderate use consistent with age. The front lens element appears clear upon visual inspection, but internal elements were not examined for haze or fungus. All electronic and recording functions for the camera, microphone, and hearing protection are untested. The CD and cassette collections show typical signs of handling to the sleeves and cases; discs and tapes have not been checked for playback quality. The Odyssey road case and hard-shell camera case show external scuffing and wear. The metal lockbox exhibits surface oxidation and finish wear.
