Description
This lot features an assortment of music and television media, consisting of CD box sets, individual audio CDs, and DVD sets. The collection includes a Cat Stevens career-spanning four CD box set titled Cat Stevens (commonly known as On the Road to Find Out), released by A&M and Universal-Island Records in 2001. This set is housed in a hardbound slipcase box with a purple ribbon pull and contains four separate themed hardback CD and booklet volumes: the city (Disc One), the hurt (Disc Two), the search (Disc Three), and the last (Disc Four). Also included are seven copies of black-ish: The Complete First Season DVD sets, published by ABC Studios and Buena Vista Home Entertainment, with catalog number 127724 printed on the spine. Additionally, the lot contains the World War II: Ultimate Collections ten disc DVD box set published by The History Channel and A&E Home Video, packaged in a cardboard slipcase with five slim-style double-disc cases. The sports category is represented by the official 2016 World Series Champions Chicago Cubs DVD film, published by Major League Baseball and Shout! Factory. For music CDs, the lot features four Van Halen albums: the self-titled Van Halen (Warner Remasters edition with gold-colored disc), Van Halen II (Warner Remasters edition with gold-colored disc), Diver Down (Warner Remasters edition with gold-colored disc), and OU812 (Standard silver-faced disc edition). Rounding out the music selection is the SPM (South Park Mexican) Power Moves: The Table double CD, published by Dope House Records in 1998, which contains the original album on Disc One and a Screwed and Chopped version by DJ Screw on Disc Two. Pickup is Friday, July 31, from Noon to 7 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item. Condition report:
The Cat Stevens outer box shows moderate shelf wear and minor splitting and fraying along the top corners, while the interior booklets, sleeves, and discs are in clean condition. All seven copies of the black-ish DVD sets are brand new and factory-sealed in original shrink-wrap. The World War II outer slipcase shows edge wear and light scuffing, with the inner cases and discs in good used condition. The Chicago Cubs DVD is factory-sealed in shrink-wrap, with visible price sticker residue on the top-left corner of the front cover. The Van Halen CD cases show typical light surface scuffing from storage, with the discs and inserts present and in good playable condition. The SPM double jewel case shows light wear and scuffing, with insert booklets and both discs present in good condition.
