Description
This collection consists of thousands of sports trading cards housed in six standard cardboard storage boxes, spanning from 1964 to 2023. Manufacturers represented include Topps, Bowman, Upper Deck, Fleer, Donruss, Leaf, and Panini. Featured vintage baseball cards include a 1964 Topps Jim Grant (pitcher, Cleveland Indians, card number 333) and a 1971 Topps Randy Hundley (catcher, Chicago Cubs, card number 355). Modern highlights include a 2011 Topps Mark Trumbo RC (card number 431), 2013 Bowman Chrome rookie cards of Mike Zunino, Adeiny Hechavarria, Jeurys Familia, and Danny Salazar, and a 2018 Bowman Chrome Prospects Kyle Tucker. Football cards include modern Panini Absolute inserts featuring players such as Justin Jefferson, George Kittle, Jared Goff, Joey Bosa, and Christian Watson. The collection contains a significant volume of cards from the late 1980s and early 1990s, including 1989 Topps, 1991 Upper Deck, 1989 Fleer, and 1991 Fleer. Notable stars identified in the 1980s-90s groups include George Brett (Donruss 90s Dominators), Nolan Ryan (Fleer Ultra), Frank Thomas (1992 Topps), and Dwight Gooden (1991 Upper Deck). Other subsets and brands present include Upper Deck Cover Glory, Panini Mosaic, and Leaf. Pickup is Friday, July 31, from Noon to 7 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item. Condition report:
All cards are ungraded. Vintage cards show signs of age; the 1971 Topps Hundley card exhibits typical minor wear and chipping along the sensitive black borders, and the 1964 Topps Jim Grant card has minor corner softening with decent centering. Modern cards from the 2010s to 2020s generally appear to be in Near Mint to Mint condition with sharp corners and clean edges. Handwritten price stickers are present on the protective top loaders of the highlighted vintage cards ($3.00 and $3.60). The majority of the collection is stored loose in rows within standard cardboard storage boxes.
