Description
This lot consists of an assortment of trading cards and collectible card game cards, primarily dating from the mid-1990s. The collection encompasses a variety of independent comic book properties, mainstream superhero themes, and niche non-sport sets. Featured series include Judge Dredd: The Epics by Edge Entertainment, Poison Elves by Comic Images, Witchblade from Top Cow and Image Comics, and the Rage collectible card game by White Wolf. Other notable series include the Hyborian Gates collectible card game by Cardz, Deathwatch 2000 by Classic, Grendel Chromium cards by Krome Productions, and Youngblood by Comic Images.
The collection also features Marvel and DC Comics cards, including oversized editions such as Superman vs. Doomsday and X-Men Super-Villains. Non-comic themes are represented by sets such as 18 Wheelers and Caterpillar promotional cards. The cards are printed on standard card stock, with some specialty treatments including Chromium metallic finishes visible in the Grendel set. The cards are organized within a yellow plastic bin and numerous clear plastic hinged storage cases. Pickup is Friday, July 31, from Noon to 7 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item. Condition report:
The collection generally appears to be in good to very good condition. A significant portion of the lot is protected within clear plastic cases, which exhibit light surface scratching and some age-related yellowing. Loose cards show minor corner wear and surface handling consistent with age and light play. No significant damage such as heavy creasing or moisture exposure is observed.
