Description
An assortment of vintage and modern collectibles, toys, jewelry, and ephemera. The lot features a large plush Archie Andrews doll wearing a yellow cardigan with a black letter B patch and brown trousers, including an original Parents magazine hangtag. Also included is a painted cast iron Pinocchio still bank. A decorative etched glass egg is mounted on a pedestal base; the underside of the base is marked FABERGE, and the glass is etched with floral motifs, the script St. Petersburg, and the number 0064. A chrome-finish Zippo lighter is present with a bottom stamp reading J ZIPPO XIV, indicating an October 1998 manufacture date. Paper goods include two July 1981 issues of Hustler Humor magazine. Timepieces include a Relic wristwatch and a celestial moon-phase dial watch with a brown leather strap. Cutting tools consist of a Smith & Wesson folding knife and a multi-tool pocket knife. Additional items include a small framed thermometer dedicated December 1, 1939, for Home of Economy Stores, an assortment of glass and stone marbles, skeleton keys, small minerals in plastic bags, a Buen Gaucho pin, and various small glass bottles including one marked LAZARUS.

Glass Egg: 5.5 inches tall. Pickup is Friday, July 31, from Noon to 7 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item. Condition report:
Items exhibit various levels of wear consistent with age and handling. The Pinocchio bank shows significant paint loss and chipping across the surface. The Archie doll has light surface soiling and toning to the tag. The glass egg appears intact with some oxidation and tarnish present on the metal base. Magazines show edge wear, creasing, and age-related toning. The JOYAK jewelry box exhibits heavy staining and spotting. All watches, the lighter, and the thermometer are untested.
