Description
This is an electric parlor lamp, commonly referred to as a Gone with the Wind or hurricane style lamp, in the style of Hedco productions. The lamp features matching opaque white milk glass components, including a ball-shaped globe shade and a lower fount section. Both glass pieces are decorated with embossed scrolling patterns that include stylized lion head or North Wind motifs, as well as transfer-printed sunflower bouquets in yellow and brown with green foliage. The lamp is mounted on a decorative, pierced-work cast metal base with a brass-toned finish. It features a key-turn socket switch and a standard two-prong electrical plug with a vintage-style cord. Visual evidence confirms the lamp is in working condition when connected to a power source.

Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item. Condition report:
The lamp is in good vintage condition. The milk glass is free of visible cracks or significant chips. The transfer-printed floral decorations are well-preserved with minimal wear. The metal base and central hardware show a light patina and minor surface oxidation consistent with age. One small area on the embossed scrolling of the upper globe shows minor surface residue or discoloration. A professional safety inspection of the vintage wiring is recommended before regular use.
