Description
A Trio of vintage Technics stereo components manufactured in Japan by Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd. The lot consists of a Model SU-G50 Stereo Integrated Amplifier (Serial No. FNDHA29855), an RS-TR157 Stereo Double Cassette Deck (Serial No. FH0HA31770), and an ST-K50 Quartz Synthesizer AM/FM Stereo Tuner (Serial No. FQ0HA63931). The SU-G50 amplifier features New Class A circuitry, FET direct coupling, and a super bass function with input selectors for CD, VCR 1, VCR 2/TV, tape, tuner, and phono. The RS-TR157 double cassette deck is equipped with auto-reverse capability, Dolby Noise Reduction, and dual deck playback. The ST-K50 tuner features a 24-channel random preset tuning system and a digital display. The components are housed in black metal chassis with integrated AC power cords. A service label from the Mercury Keller Service Center in Columbus, Ohio, dated 8-29-91, is affixed to the rear of the amplifier. Pickup is Friday, July 31, from Noon to 7 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item. Condition report:
The amplifier and tuner power on with functional displays. The double cassette deck does not turn on. All three units show significant cosmetic wear including heavy dust, surface residue, and grime throughout. Components have not been tested for audio fidelity or full mechanical operation beyond power connectivity.
