Description
An Art Deco smoking accessory featuring a bi-color glass construction. The piece consists of a thick-walled, rectangular amber glass central well joined to two opaque black glass cigarette rests. The rests are designed with a tiered, geometric speed-line motif typical of the machine age aesthetic. The item is constructed from cast glass and lacks any visible manufacturer marks, signatures, or etched stamps.
Total length: 5.75 inches. Pickup is Friday, July 31, from Noon to 7 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item. Condition report:
The ashtray is in good vintage condition. There are minor surface scratches present within the interior well and light scuffing on the underside consistent with age and handling. No chips, cracks, or structural damage are visible.
