Description
This is a vintage three-section vehicle traffic signal manufactured by the Eagle Signal Company. The unit is constructed with a yellow-painted aluminum housing, identified by the embossed ALUSIG mark and the stylized eagle emblem on the reverse of the casing. The signal includes three colored glass lenses in red, amber, and blue-green. These lenses bear embossed text including KOPP GLASS, TOP, and WIDE ANGLE. The interior of each section contains a mirrored reflector and a standard incandescent bulb socket. An internal frame component is marked PKC-825. Each light is shaded by a matching yellow metal visor, and the unit is equipped with a mounting eye-bolt at the top.
Length: 42 inches. Pickup is Friday, July 31, from Noon to 7 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item. Condition report:
The traffic signal shows evidence of age and previous service. The yellow paint exhibits scattered chips, scratches, and abrasions, with some areas of surface oxidation and accumulated dirt on the metal housing and visors. The glass lenses remain intact with no visible cracks or significant damage. The internal wiring and electrical components have not been tested, and their operational status is unknown.
