Description
An assortment of estate jewelry and vintage timepieces. The collection features a yellow-metal rectangular wristwatch with a black dial and integrated woven mesh band. The dial is marked Rolex, Geneve, and Cellini, and is decorated with gold-tone diagonal stripes. Additional watches include a Westclox Pocket Ben pocket watch housed in a brown leather pouch, a cK Calvin Klein Professional 200 Meters diver-style watch with a brown leather strap, a Bonrus Ultrasteel watch with a green sunburst dial, and an Unlisted quartz watch. Jewelry items include a silver-tone coin link bracelet featuring South African coins dated 1927 and marked Zuid Afrika and 2 1/2 Shillings. Also present is a silver-tone heart-shaped link bracelet with a charm engraved A.P.S. and a tiger’s eye bead necklace. The lot is organized into several burgundy-lined cases and contains numerous pieces of costume jewelry, including a large red enamel flower brooch, a yellow rose brooch, and various rhinestone-set rings, earrings, and brooches. A small brass-tone folding frame containing a portrait of a figure in 18th-century attire is also included. Pickup is Friday, July 31, from Noon to 7 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item. Condition report:
Timepieces show surface scratches to crystals and cases consistent with age and use. Costume jewelry exhibits varying degrees of tarnish, surface abrasions, and wear to enamel finishes. Leather components on watch straps and pouches show signs of wear and creasing. The mechanical functionality of all watches is untested.
