Description
Technics SL-BD10 DC Servo Turntable System. This vintage belt-drive phonograph is constructed with a black plastic and composite chassis and includes a hinged clear acrylic dust cover. The straight tonearm is fitted with a Pickering DTL-3S cartridge and stylus. Operation is controlled via front-facing slide switches for speed selection (33 and 45 RPM) and cueing, along with a rectangular power button. The unit features an integrated AC power cord. Visible markings include printed branding on the front panel and a rear manufacturer label for Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd. specifying a power requirement of 120V at 60Hz. The serial number sticker reads GF8129A 311. Made in Japan. Pickup is Friday, July 31, from Noon to 7 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item. Condition report:
Used condition with a significant accumulation of dust and surface grime across the chassis, platter mat, and controls. The acrylic dust cover shows visible surface scuffs and scratches. Accompanied by a handwritten note stating the unit powers on; however, further mechanical tracking and audio output functionality has not been tested.
