Description
This lot features a set of four HO scale model train cars manufactured by Roundhouse Products. The collection consists of four distinct rolling stock units, all featuring plastic bodies with a combination of metal and plastic components for the trucks, wheels, and couplers. The set includes one Denver & Rio Grande Western Drover Caboose (No. 3767) finished in a yellow and silver livery titled The Silverton, featuring the Scenic Line of the World logo. The remaining three cars are Baltimore & Ohio Overton style passenger cars in a coordinating blue and cream livery: one Observation Car (No. 3729), one Baggage Car (No. 3749) marked B & O Ry. and Express Baggage, and one Coach (No. 3709). Each car is housed in its original color-printed cardboard box featuring the Roundhouse Products logo and specific model information on the end flaps. The boxes also contain the original paper instruction and parts sheets. The cars appear to have been previously assembled from their original kit form. Pickup is Friday, July 31, from Noon to 7 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item. Condition report:
The model cars appear to be in good, assembled condition with wheels and couplers intact. The original cardboard boxes show minor shelf wear, edge rubbing, and age-related toning consistent with storage. Vintage retail price stickers are present on the box ends. Internal paper instructions show typical folding and light creasing.
