Description
This lot consists of three diverse vintage table lamps of varying materials and period styles. The first lamp is designed in the Hollywood Regency style, featuring an ornate cast metal base with an antiqued brass-tone finish and a white milk glass font decorated with gold-tone starburst motifs and thumbprint indentations. It is paired with a cream-colored fabric hexagonal bell shade. The second lamp is a Neoclassical chandelier-style piece featuring an ornate cast metal base with a brass finish and a faceted crystal or glass column. A metal bobeche below the socket is adorned with hanging crystal teardrop prisms, and the lamp is topped with a cream fabric drum shade. The third lamp is a Neoclassical column lamp crafted from carved white marble with characteristic gray veining, featuring a turned pedestal stem and a cream fabric bell shade.
Milk glass lamp height: Approximately 29.5 inches to the top of the decorative finial.
Chandelier lamp height: Approximately 36 inches.
Marble lamp height: Approximately 26.5 inches to the top of the socket. Pickup is Friday, July 31, from Noon to 7 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item. Condition report:
All lamps show minor age-appropriate wear, including light oxidation to metal components and minor marks on the fabric shades. The marble lamp exhibits a visible hairline crack or separation near one of the joints in the stem. Functional testing was performed: the chandelier-style lamp and the marble column lamp are functional; the milk glass lamp did not turn on and requires repair or rewiring. As with all vintage lighting, internal wiring should be inspected by a qualified professional before use.
