Description
A Horton Manufacturing Company, Inc. Explorer compound crossbow featuring a synthetic stock with a tan camouflage finish, a metal rail, and a metal foot stirrup. The central rail displays an identification label for the Explorer model and a separate label stating Made in U.S.A. with serial number B156920. The crossbow is equipped with a Truglo red dot sight and a detachable Horton quiver. The quiver contains a collection of arrows, including specimens marked Maxima. The safety mechanism is clearly marked with Fire and Safe indicators.
Axle-to-axle width: approximately 25.5 inches. Pickup is Friday, July 31, from Noon to 7 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item. Condition report:
This crossbow shows signs of heavy use and long-term storage, including significant dust accumulation and surface rust on the mounting screws and hardware. The bowstring serving is visibly frayed and discolored. Professional inspection of the string and limbs is recommended prior to use.
