This collection consists of printed materials and yearbooks related to United States military service, with a focus on the U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Navy, spanning from 1922 to 1990. The U.S. Marine Corps items include a Seventh Edition of The Marine’s Handbook with a red cover, two copies of Guidebook for Marines in teal and green covers, a 1922 edition of Uniform Regulations United States Marine Corps published by the Government Printing Office, a 1968 Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego yearbook, and a boxed U.S. Marine Corps Guest Book with a color seal. The U.S. Navy materials include a 1940 edition of The Bluejackets’ Manual, a 1959 Keel yearbook for Recruit Training Command Company 349 at Great Lakes, Illinois, and a trio of hardcover cruise books for U.S. Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 128 (Seabees). One Seabee volume is marked for the 1967-1968 deployment to Da Nang, Republic of Vietnam. Other items in the group include a 1941 War Department Basic Field Manual FM 21-100 Soldier’s Handbook, a 1990 Fraternal Order of Police 75th Grand Lodge Anniversary book, and a vintage color-printed insignia chart depicting ranks and a Red Cross nurse. Construction methods vary from staple-bound softcover booklets to embossed hardcover volumes. Many items feature service-specific seals such as the Marine Corps Eagle, Globe, and Anchor or the Navy anchor. We do our best to describe all items in the sale, and we definitely take a ton of photos. But, we are not able to guarantee authenticity or era of items in the sale. Please carefully look at all photos (up to 100 in some cases on our in-house platform) to judge for yourself what you are buying. All sales are final. Our in-house shipping is available. Pickup is Wednesday, July 15, from Noon to 5 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
