Description

A vintage dark brown leather flight jacket produced by Schott NYC in the pattern of a United States Navy G-1 jacket. The exterior is constructed from dark brown leather with a pronounced grain. The jacket features a dark brown synthetic fur collar, rib-knit waistband, and rib-knit cuffs. It is lined with a cream-colored acrylic pile. Functional details include two front patch pockets with scalloped button-down flaps and a full-length metal zipper. The back is designed with a bi-swing action feature to allow for a greater range of motion. The interior neck area contains a rectangular fabric label printed with the text FLIGHT JACKET, a space for NAME, and MFG. BY SCHOTT NYC alongside the number 135 674. A smaller tag stitched above the main label indicates size 44 in red text. Service labels from Leathercraft Process of America are attached at the bottom of the manufacturer label, displaying the company New York City address and instructions for specialized leather cleaning.
