Description
A US Army Green Service Uniform, commonly known as the Class A or Army Green Service Uniform (AG-44 or AG-344 pattern), manufactured by the Crown Clothing Company under contract for the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP). The ensemble consists of a service coat, matching trousers, a hat, and a belt. The coat features a classic four-pocket design with two pleated breast pockets and two lower bellows pockets, shoulder epaulets, and a single-vented back. The garment is fitted with black composite buttons embossed with the Great Seal of the United States. The trousers are in a matching shade of green with a standard four-pocket configuration and belt loops. An interior label is present reading MADE FOR DSCP BY CROWN CLOTHING COMPANY U.S.A. with a stylized American flag, accompanied by a white fabric label detailing pressing instructions. This uniform represents the standard service dress used by the US Army from the late Cold War period through the early Global War on Terrorism before being phased out starting in 2010. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
