Description
A United States Marine Corps (USMC) P41 (Pattern 1941) utility jacket, a standard fatigue and combat uniform from the World War II and Korean War eras. The garment is constructed from olive drab herringbone twill (HBT) cotton fabric, featuring a distinctive diagonal chevron weave. The jacket is designed with a five-button front closure and two-button cuffs, utilizing brown four-hole plastic buttons. The layout includes three external patch pockets: one on the left chest and two larger pockets at the hips.
The left chest pocket features a black ink stencil with the vertical text USMC positioned next to the Marine Corps Eagle, Globe, and Anchor (EGA) emblem. Inside the neck area, a black ink stamp provides the sizing and production information. The top line reads SIZE 40 and the second line reads CONTRACT NO X 40431. We do our best to describe all items in the sale, and we definitely take a ton of photos. But, we are not able to guarantee authenticity or era of items in the sale. Pickup is Wednesday, July 15, from Noon to 5 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
