Description

A United States Marine Corps (USMC) P41 (Pattern 1941) utility jacket, a standard fatigue and combat uniform from the World War II and Korean War eras. The garment is constructed from olive drab herringbone twill (HBT) cotton fabric, featuring a distinctive diagonal chevron weave. The jacket is designed with a five-button front closure and two-button cuffs, utilizing brown four-hole plastic buttons. The layout includes three external patch pockets: one on the left chest and two larger pockets at the hips.

The left chest pocket features a black ink stencil with the vertical text USMC positioned next to the Marine Corps Eagle, Globe, and Anchor (EGA) emblem. Inside the neck area, a black ink stamp provides the sizing and production information. The top line reads SIZE 40 and the second line reads CONTRACT NO X 40431.
