Description
This lot features two circular decorative plaques displaying the insignia of the United States Marine Corps. The first item is a large brass-toned wall plaque with an embossed Eagle, Globe, and Anchor (EGA) emblem at the center. The surrounding border is inscribed with the text DEPARTMENT OF THE NAVY and UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS, enclosed by a raised rope-style rim. The reverse side includes a red cord for wall mounting and several hand-incised characters that are not clearly legible. The second item is a painted stepping stone or wall plaque manufactured by Spoontiques. It features a raised EGA emblem on a red central field, surrounded by a blue ring with yellow lettering and a yellow rope-style border. This plaque is constructed from a cast resin or composite material. The reverse contains a metal keyhole hanger and two labels, one indicating the manufacturer Spoontiques and the other identifying the item as a Marines Stepping Stone, model 13139, made in China.

Small composite plaque diameter: 9.5 inches. We do our best to describe all items in the sale, and we definitely take a ton of photos. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
