Description
This collection consists of professional tactical police equipment and uniform components attributed to Sergeant R. P. Mason of the Newark, Ohio Police Department, dating to the early 2000s. The primary piece is a black tactical vest carrier manufactured by Protech Armored Products. The interior manufacturer label features a printed knight logo, notes compliance with N.I.J. Standard 0101.03, and provides a manufacture date of April 30, 2002, with the handwritten name Sgt. Mason. Included is a PASGT-style ballistic helmet featuring an olive drab webbing suspension system and a leather sweatband; the interior shell is inscribed Sgt. R. P. Mason. The lot also contains a black tactical uniform jacket featuring embroidered patches for the Newark Police Special Operations Group and a breast patch reading Patrolman Newark Police Ohio. The assortment is completed by several pairs of black leather gloves, a single fingerless tactical glove, an olive drab webbing belt with an attached pouch, and blue nylon wet-weather trousers. We do our best to describe all items in the sale, and we definitely take a ton of photos. But, we are not able to guarantee authenticity or era of items in the sale. Pickup is Wednesday, July 15, from Noon to 5 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
