Description
A pair of US military tropical combat boots, popularly referred to as jungle boots. This pair features black leather lower sections and olive drab canvas and nylon webbing uppers. The design incorporates vertical and diagonal reinforcement straps for ankle support. The outsoles are the Panama-pattern style, utilizing vulcanized direct molded sole technology. Each boot is equipped with two screened brass drainage eyelets on the instep. The waist of the outsole is marked with the name Addison in script, the RO-SEARCH circular mark, and the size 9N-1. These boots represent the standard issue pattern used from the late Vietnam War era through the 1980s, designed with an internal steel plate in the sole for spike protection. We do our best to describe all items in the sale, and we definitely take a ton of photos. But, we are not able to guarantee authenticity or era of items in the sale. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
