A pair of legal tender silver bullion coins issued for Tuvalu featuring iconic characters from the Marvel Comics universe, struck by the Perth Mint. The lot includes one 2018 Iron Man coin and one 2019 Captain America coin. Each coin is struck in one troy ounce of .9999 fine silver. The obverse of both coins features the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II designed by Ian Rank-Broadley, denoted by the small IRB initials, along with the inscriptions QUEEN ELIZABETH II, TUVALU, 1 DOLLAR, the weight and fineness 1 oz 9999 Ag, and the respective year date. The reverse of the 2018 coin depicts Iron Man in a dynamic pose with the inscriptions MARVEL IRONMAN and the copyright mark. The reverse of the 2019 coin depicts Captain America with his shield and the inscriptions MARVEL CAPTAIN AMERICA and the copyright mark. Both coins are housed in clear, protective plastic capsules.
