This lot consists of three silver bullion coins issued by the Royal Canadian Mint in 2017. Each coin has a stated denomination of 8 Dollars and contains 1 1/2 troy ounces of .9999 fine silver. The reverse of each coin features a detailed image of a grizzly bear standing on a rocky outcrop and bears the transcribed marks CANADA 2017, 9999, and FINE SILVER 1 1/2 OZ ARGENT PUR, along with a small maple leaf privy mark and the designer initials PL. The obverse depicts the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II and bears the transcribed marks ELIZABETH II, 8 DOLLARS, and D.G. REGINA, with the designer initials SB visible on the shoulder. Both sides feature a background of radial security lines. Each coin is housed in a clear protective plastic capsule with a white foam gasket.
