This lot consists of three silver bullion coins issued by Canada in 2017 with a face value of 8 Dollars. Each coin is struck in 1 1/2 ounces of .9999 fine silver. The obverse features the right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt, with the artist’s initials SB located on the shoulder. Obverse inscriptions include ELIZABETH II, 8 DOLLARS, and D G REGINA. The reverse, designed by Pierre Leduc (initials PL), depicts a grizzly bear standing on a rocky outcrop. Reverse inscriptions include CANADA 2017, FINE SILVER 1 1/2 OZ ARGENT PUR, and 9999. Both faces feature a background of radial lines, and the reverse includes a micro-engraved maple leaf security mark. Each coin is housed in an individual clear plastic capsule with a white foam ring insert.
