This lot consists of two silver bullion coins issued by Niue as part of the Star Wars series produced by the New Zealand Mint. Both coins are struck in .999 fine silver and carry a face value of Two Dollars. The obverse of each coin displays the right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II designed by Ian Rank-Broadley, with his initials IRB appearing below the truncation. The legends read ELIZABETH II, NIUE, TWO DOLLARS, and 2018. The reverse designs feature iconic Star Wars characters: one coin depicts Darth Vader in profile with a lightsaber, and the other shows a Stormtrooper in a ready stance with a blaster. Both reverses include the Imperial insignia in the background. Visible markings include the NZM mint mark and rim inscriptions stating 1 oz 999 Fine Silver followed by the Lucasfilm Ltd. copyright.
