Description
An assortment of antique black glass buttons, primarily dating to the 19th century. These items are buttons crafted from black glass, commonly known as jet glass, and represent various Victorian and later styles. The collection features molded and carved motifs including floral, botanical, geometric, and pictorial designs such as sunflowers, grapes, anchors, and sunbursts. Many examples exhibit decorative finishes including gold, silver, bronze, and aqua lusters, alongside iridescent, faceted, and contrast designs. The items are organized across several display boards and cards, some of which include printed labels for specific patterns like Pinwheel, Pictorial Bow, and Realistic Flower.
Largest display boards approximately 11.5 inches by 9 inches. Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
