Description
This collection consists of several 19th-century buttons featuring hand-painted porcelain and enamel surfaces. The assortment includes various shapes such as round, oval, and one rectangular piece. Decorative motifs include floral bouquets with roses and forget-me-nots, avian scenes with birds and a nest, and classical-style female portraits in late 19th-century attire. Most pieces are finished with gold-toned or beaded metal borders. The items are mounted on a black velvet background within a rectangular wooden shadow box frame that includes a brass ring hanger and a glass front.
Frame height: approximately 8 inches Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
