Description
This collection features multiple antique and vintage buttons of various styles and periods, systematically organized on several labeled display cards. The assortment includes a wide array of materials and decorative techniques, such as painted enamel, shell, glass set in metal, ceramic, china, and celluloid. The cards are categorized with printed and handwritten labels including PAINTED, ENAMEL, GLASS IN METAL, PASTES ON MOD METAL, and CELLULOID. Individual handwritten notes indicate specific types or attributes such as BLOWN, FABRIC, and GAUMOND, with one note mentioning a repaired shank. Several cards bear the printed label DIMI. The collection is presented on several colored cardstock mounts, with some additional loose items contained in small plastic bags.
Display cards approximately 9 inches by 12 inches Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
